As you know I m Turkish and I live Izmir.Our country is a bit big like 814.578 km2. We have 3 kind of sea that ones Mediterranean Sea in the south, Aegean Sea in the west and Black Sea in the north. The official language is Turkish. English is widely spoken in major cities and our capital city Ankara.Turkey has 7 different region that has different cultures each other.

I almost visit each region in my country. I can say with plesure like my country has really nice and amazing places.. Turkish culture reflects this unparalleled cultural richness and diversity, and remains mostly shaped by its deep roots in Middle East, Anatolia and Balkans, the cradle of many civilizations for at least twelve thousand years...

Turkey has several history in the past.The greatest empires of the world, the Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman, many cultures were established and indeed flourished in and around this huge "melting pot". Today, a traveler to Turkey can observe the features of all of these cultures. Not only are they visible in their marvelous remains, but in their impacts on the daily lives of Turks today, which differs greatly from one area to another.
As of September 2012, 190 States Parties have ratified the World Heritage Convention. Turkey has 11 Heritages on the UNESCO World Heritage List as of 2012 .Archaeological Site of Troy (1998),City of Safranbolu (1994),Great Mosque and Hospital of Divriği (1985),Hattusha: the Hittite Capital (1986),Historic Areas of Istanbul (1985),Nemrut Dağ (1987),Neolithic Site ofÇatalhöyük (2012),Selimiye Mosque and its Social Complex (2011),Xanthos-Letoon (1988) .
